Feet

If your feet are tired, sore or simply neglected, the whole body suffers. The feet in fact support the entire weight of the body and bearing the impact of each step, also their complex structure (26 bones and hundreds of nerve endings) causes that are very sensitive to fatigue. Stab of pain, a sense of soreness and hardened skin are a sign that your feet need more attention. Podiatrists and reflexologists recommend a regular program of care:

  • Foot bath, exfoliation and moisturizing regularly will help to soften skin and nails, making your the most beautiful feet;
  • Massage, heat and movement of the feet soften the joints and make your feet more flexible and less prone to pain;
  • Heat and massage stimulates the circulation, bringing oxygen to muscles, skin and nails and helping to suffer less from cold feet;
  • Regularly check the health of your feet allows you to spot potential problems, such as blisters, corns, bursitis, warts and athlete's foot;
  • Because the nerves in the feet through the whole body, moisturize and massage this part will stimulate and reinvigorate your entire body.
What you propose is a relaxing ritual: sit in a comfortable place where you will not be disturbed, take two large towels, backed by one of them a basin of hot water big enough to lean on both feet and get ready to relax.
First, add the water a couple of tablespoons of salt (salt is not only a good antiseptic, but also helps to exfoliate the skin, improve circulation and eliminate toxins; rub over your feet until it is melted) and olive oil moisturizer, then join a few drops of relaxing essential oil (the essential oil of lavender is not only antiseptic, fungicide and antiperspirant, but has a strong relaxing effect, but instead the essential oils of eucalyptus or camphor are astringent, stimulating circulation and make your feet lighter). These ingredients will make your feet very special treatment.
Now soak your feet and relax for ten minutes.
After the bath, dab your feet with another towel and proceed with a scrub. Remove dead skin of the feet helps cells to regenerate, keeping always soft.
Now is the time to an oil-based moisturizer - most effective if applied when the feet are still damp. The creams that contain lanolin (a purified form of fat found in wool) works particularly well because the soles do not have sebaceous glands and the skin dries out easily.

If possible, let the moisturizer absorb into your feet up for about an hour.
Finally, try to stretch all the muscles of the feet with some exercises that will loosen the tension. Start with the regular rotation of the ankles, then flex each foot up and down several times. Bend your fingers and drop them, then ends by moving vigorously.
