Sage



Sage is an excellent tonic for the nervous system. Its antioxidant properties protect the skin from free radicals, helping to delay the signs of aging. Add the sage leaves in a steam bath for the face; their antiseptic properties are good against spots and pimples. To cleanse thoroughly normal skin, try nourishing mask for face (in the next post). For a healing mouthwash, put 4 or 5 leaves in a cup of boiling water, cover and leave to infuse for 5 minutes.
Rub fresh leaves on your teeth to whiten and strengthen the gums.
