Remove Unwanted Hair

A silky and well epilated is a must of femininity. Get rid of unwanted hair can be difficult, but the effort is rewarded by a skin smooth and soft that you will be proud to show off. Address the problem could create confusion when you find yourself in front of a wide range of techniques and equipment, from the shaver in the shower to waxing esthetician, to the treatment with the laser. The key to a good result is to find the method best suited to your hair and your skin, and the firm will be easier thanks to my guide.
Remove unwanted hair is a practice surprisingly remote.
The ancient Greeks, for which the smooth skin was a symbol of civilization, shave and depilate with a kind of molasses, the Romans tore their hair, the Egyptians used razor, threading and waxing.
In 1915 Harper's Bazaar was the first magazine to show a model with the shoulders and armpits in sight: pictures threw a true fashion of hair removal.
In the thirties and forties, when the skirts began to shorten, women started to shave their legs, especially during the Second World War, when the tights were scarce.
According to research Gillette, women shave a body area nine times larger than that of men.

Personally I removed unwanted hair forever with professional treatments to the beautician. I got to practice electrocoagulation in the groin area and armpits. In each follicle is inserted a thin needle, through which passes a current which destroys the follicle inhibiting regrowth. Lasting months or years, although the hair can grow back if stimulated.
It's painful and expensive. Each hair must be treated separately - often several times - and it takes more than one sitting to successfully depilate a small area, but it is virtually permanent!
As for arms and legs I opted for a laser treatment. The laser produces a beam of light that destroys the hair bulb. Lasts months after required maintenance sessions. It works by focusing the beam on a pigment, and is therefore unsuitable for dark skin or very light in red or gray hair. It's only suitable for dark hair on fair skin. It 's expensive and can be painful. The effectiveness and long-term effects are not clearly demonstrated but is quick and remove large areas of hair.

In the next post I will speak of alternative treatments.
